| Everyone with goals of reaching officer in their crew should read this. The crew of Cast Off Requires this reading as you WILL be tested thoroughly on its contents. |

| How about an officer that could use some more training? I get freaked out taking my sloop out. Either I worry that I won't have enough time especially when school starts again. I have pretty short blocks of play time. But mainly it is confidence. I am fine with the navy but throw real players in the mix and I get nervous. Especially because this is a really good crew used to going out with Aedia (I could name some others)... I want to get better at leading pillys. Right now I am just crabcakse the super jobber... lol |

| I must admit, I was the same when I got my first sloop way back on midnight... I used to take it out with just me and the swabbies, simply because I didn't want other players to see how bad I was doing. The way I overcame this, was to start taking it out with just one other person, a good friend, then slowly increased the amount of people on the sloop. But, as you said, we have a really good crew. We're all good friends, so all we'd do is offer constructive criticism. You'd be supprised at how well you'd do after a few crew only pillages to build up your confidence. My advice would be to take it out with people you know and trust. So, if you are nervous and muck up, there is not going to be a big deal over it. | |
